We’re featuring a radio interview with award-winning composer Gabriela Lena Frank and Vanderbilt faculty members Jennifer Lena and Jonathan Neufeld as they discuss the upcoming GLF Project, which will include a performance and recording by ALIAS of Frank’s works. The project includes a partnership with the Music, Authority and Community research project at Vanderbilt, which includes the contribution of Neufeld, a professor of philosophy, and Lena, a professor of sociology.  ALIAS will perform the piece in October. The interview includes clips of ALIAS performing Frank’s quartet “Leyendas”, and discussion about the commission, recording and upcoming concert.
